Peer Educators Are you having trouble making all the pieces of the college puzzle fit? Is it difficult to find time to study, go to work, make it to class on time, and still have a social life? Could you use some tips on how to take notes, prepare for tests, manage your course requirements, or talk to a teacher? The Peer Educators in the Learning Resource Center can help you with all of these things. PE's are UNO students like you who have been around for a few years and have figured out how to make the pieces fit. Together with University Success (UNIV) faculty, they teach classes on time management, test taking, note taking, and getting along with faculty. During the fall and spring semesters a Peer Educator can meet individually with a student to work on those areas that will help him or her become a better student, and UNO faculty can schedule a Peer Educator to give short workshops during class time on test taking and note taking skills. Call 280-7054 to make an appointment. Peer Educator Schedule: |
